  5. The Proteon p1392 ProNET-4/16 Bus Master Network Interface Card connects 8 or
  6. 16-bit ISA Bus personal computers to an IEEE 802.5/IBM-compatible Token-Ring
  7. network. Featuring high-performance 16-bit bus master I/O, the p1392 is
  8. software configurable for either 4 Mbps or 16 Mbps network speed and for
  9. operation over either shielded twisted-pair (STP) or unshielded twisted-pair
  10. (UTP) cable. With 128 KB of onboard memory, the p1392 provides the larger
  11. packet buffering needed for high-speed 16 Mbps applications

  13. The p1392 adapter features high-performance RapiDrivers that have been tested
  14. and certified by Novell for compatibility with NetWare 3.X and 2.X, and by
  15. Microsoft for compatibility with OS/2 LAN Manager. They support other popular
  16. networking environments, including Banyan Vines, Digital PATHWORKS, FTP
  17. Software PC/TCP, IBM networking software, and SCO UNIX.
